Maria Quinn

Maria Quinn is a songwriter, pianist and composer working across song, film and spoken word. Her work has a piano-led, cinematic and poetic sensibility, and she is particularly interested in collaborative projects that develop music in dialogue with image, text and narrative.

Process

Maria is comfortable working remotely, sharing and developing musical ideas digitally, and uses Ableton Live to sketch, layer and refine material as projects evolve. She is equally happy to work in person when practical, using shared sessions to explore ideas together. Reference tracks are welcome as a way of establishing a clear starting point for musical direction and conversation.
