Maria Quinn is a songwriter and pianist based in Glasgow, creating piano-led songs with a cinematic, poetic sensibility. Her work blends intimate vocals with detailed arrangements, drawing on folk, classical and art-pop influences.

These songs are a collaboration with Aberdeen-based songwriter Colin Macduff. They will be released as a 5 song EP entitled Meltwater, in autumn 2026.
The Underside
A slow, cinematic song built around piano, string quartet and clarinet, and unfolding with a dark, introspective mood.
Brittle
Upbeat, piano-led and quirky, with bright melodies and a subtle emotional edge.
I Have Come to Understand
A slow, atmospheric poem set to music, with piano and voice giving way to a haunting closing dialogue between cello and bass clarinet.
